Our Sterilization Technicians work hands onto supportour Dental Assistants and Doctorsin patient care. Responsibilities Responsible for decontamination and cleaning of all equipment and instruments; ensurescleanlinessand sterility of allinstruments Accurately assembles instruments sets based on established count sheets; effectively uses materials and supplieswhileminimizingwaste Appropriately prepares and packages single instrumentitems,differentiatingitems requiring steam versus gassterilization Stores, delivers, and manages sterile supplies usingaseptictechnique Evaluates functioning of equipment; reports malfunction follows through to ensureappropriate repairsare complete and maintenance performed preventing futuredamage Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing treatment rooms after each use Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices) Any other duties and responsibilities asassigned Qualifications Bilingual Spanish/English required High School Diploma or GED Strong verbal communication skills Physically capable of transporting supplies and equipment Must have basic computerskills Knowledgeof dental clinical operations and terminologypreferred Prioritizemultiple demands and requests tomaintainpatientflow Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members asneeded Benefits: RisasDental and Braces offers a comprehensive benefits packageincluding: 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week Medical and vision benefits Free dental services Reimbursement for X-rayand Coronal Polish Exams 401(k) with employer match Tuition reimbursement opportunities And many other ancillary benefits The working environment is fun, fast paced, challenging, and rewarding with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
