Position Summary The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services by greeting guests, managing parking and luggage, assisting with directions, and ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the guest experience. Essential Functions 25% Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor and guest last names. 10% Parks and retrieves vehicles safely while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed; opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests. 20% Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, and amenities; delivers messages, items, and requested guest amenities; shuttles guests to approved locations. 10% Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks after receiving keys and recovers keys before returning vehicles; records key tags, folio information, vehicle damage, and receipts; calculates and collects revenue when necessary. 35% Other duties as required to support the guest experience and operational efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license in the state of employment or within a commutable distance. At least one month of related experience or equivalent education/experience. Knowledge of customer and personal services principles. Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English; write brief correspondence; present information to small groups. Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using U.S. currency; understand 24‑hour, military time, and rate calculations. Desire to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking. Work Schedule & Compensation Hourly base pay: $21.50 per hour + tips. $2.50 shift differential for overnight shifts. Work schedule Monday through Sunday. Benefits eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Requires frequent sit or stand for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, walking, running, and ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions.
