• Duration: Open-ended, with initial assignment of 1-2 weeks
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, with weekend call (2+ weekends/month, non-consecutive)
• Hours/Week: 40
• Employment Type: Locum to Perm
• License/Certs: NJ Medical License (preferred), Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in non-invasive cardiology preferred

What You ll Do:

• Conduct non-invasive cardiology assessments and procedures including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, EKGs, and treadmill stress tests
• Evaluate adult and geriatric patients with cardiac concerns in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and healthcare providers
• Support coverage needs during staffing shortages and provide weekend call coverage as required
• Document patient encounters accurately in Oracle/Cerner EMR system
• Contribute to patient care planning and follow-up

What You Need:

• Active NJ medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of cardiology practice experience
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
