Job Description Job Title: Customer Service Associate Location: Field Department: Store Operations Summary: The Customer Service Associate supports the store management team by providing excellent customer service, food and beverage preparation, cashier duties, housekeeping, and other related tasks. The role aims to deliver an exceptional customer experience that aligns with Wawa’s mission to improve lives daily. Principal Duties Greet customers and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience. Respond to requests and complaints courteously, utilizing Wawa’s GREAT customer service model. Communicate customer concerns to management. Operate the cash register, handle payments, and assist with fuel and lottery transactions. Request ID for restricted product purchases, stock shelves, and prepare food and beverages as per recipes or customer specifications. Maintain cleanliness of food and beverage areas, check expiration dates, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Complete store housekeeping and safety procedures, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Essential Functions Ability to work independently and in a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn and follow safety and operational procedures. Physical ability to stand, walk, handle, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs throughout shifts. Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation and slip-resistant shoes. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.
