Maintenance Support/AssistantThe Maintenance Support/Assistant at The Timothy School is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Supervisor on the upkeep and general maintenance of the school, equipment and grounds.Core Job Duties & Responsibilities (in priority order)Support/assist Facilities ManagerMonitor campus buildings throughout the day for any cleaning/maintenance issues; spot clean areas as neededProvide clean up support as needed after student accident/illnessMaintain campus laundry facilities to ensure lint traps and vents are regularly cleaned out, machines functioning, etc.Spackling and paintingVan Care (inspections, cleaning and filling gas tanks)Minor electrical work (e.g., changing light bulbs, etc.)Cleaning of roof inlets/guttersCampus kitchen deep clean (3 kitchens, twice per year)Other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Graduate/GEDDriver's License1. Experience with maintenance at an office, school or facility2. Safe and effective use of hand and power tools3. Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently or as part of a team.4. Ability to adjust to changing priorities and tasks, as maintenance work can be unpredictable.5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete work orders efficiently.6. Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.7. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
