Registered Nurse I Inpatient Rehabilitation

Job Summary Registered Nurse I – Full‑time nights, inpatient rehabilitation unit. Provides multidisciplinary treatment to patients. Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical‑surgical units and basic dysrhythmia skills/knowledge required. Staff may float to other medical‑surgical units as needed. Work Hours 36 hours per week (3 12‑hour shifts). Weekends and holidays required per department process. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Document nursing steps using proper medical terminology. Address patient problems and progress toward goals. Facilitate patient discharge with timely referrals and education resources appropriate to patient age and cultural factors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support unit/hospital goals through quality improvement activities and education. Participate in unit in‑services, meet education standards, and complete variance reports. Qualifications Minimum education: Completion of an accredited nursing program and held or eligible for a diploma or degree. Licensure: Valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Experience: 0–6 months related nursing experience. Knowledge and skills: General disease‑state management, bio‑psychosocial model, clinical pathways, effective written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
