At Intermountain, you will be part of a team that values career advancement, innovation and collaboration, where your skills are valued, and your contributions make a lasting impact./ppAs an CT Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:/pulliMaintains ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job/liliUnderstands and operates CT equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure production of quality images./liliEnsures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam./liliFollows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging, obtaining necessary consents, maintaining applicable QC program and reporting any equipment failures or problems./liliAs ordered by the physician and under radiologist or physician supervision administers contrast media to patients per protocol and provides education to patients regarding safety concerns inherent to contrast administration./liliStays updated with the latest advancements in CT technology, techniques, and protocols by participating in continuing education and professional development activities/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications CT Tech/pulliBasic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days/liliARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire/liliLicensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire/liliIV Competency within 90 Days/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliFor caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification/liliCertified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT)/liliSpecific facility-based certification may also be required for this role. If this applies, each facility will define and manage compliance/lili1-2 years Work Experience CT Experience in a hospital setting/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications CT Tech II/pulliCurrent ARRT (R) (CT) registration./liliCurrent BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire (with prior approval)./liliMinimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist./liliDemonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants./liliDemonstrated knowledge of radiation safety./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pullin/a/li/ulpLocation: Platte Valley Hospital/ppWork City: Brighton/ppWork State: Colorado/ppScheduled Weekly Hours: 0/ppThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
