Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician primarily responsible for environmental monitoring (EM) and micro plating. This role involves performing regular media plate sampling and incubation as well as alternating duties between clean room and lab settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental monitoring on-site, focusing on media plates every hour.
• Sample and incubate plates, primarily in clean room environments.
• Work in ISO 7 and 8 clean rooms with full-gown requirements.
• Alternate between clean room tasks and lab work, ensuring presence in the clean room from 7:30am-3/4pm.
• Conduct EM procedures before production begins.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or higher in relevant field.
• 1-2+ years of micro plating experience, including media growth on plates and agar plates.
• Familiarity with the full-gowning process in clean rooms, with training provided.
• Preferred GMP Clean and Clean Room experience.

Experience

• 1-2+ years of experience in micro plating, with preferred exposure to GMP environments.

Skills

• Attention to detail for micro plating and media plate sampling.
• Ability to work effectively in a clean room environment.

Additional Requirements

• Adherence to clean room protocols, such as no makeup, nail polish, or fake eyeglasses.
