Wealth & Fiduciary Operations Associate II - Jackson, MS

General Position Scope: Responsibilities focus on the accurate, timely, and efficient implementation of accounting and maintenance for the trust accounts held by the Wealth Management Group. This includes handling the daily cash needs and transactions for clients and reconciling system with various custodians. Main duties include account opening and closing and transfer of assets. Duties and Responsibilities: Daily processing of customer activity: posting deposits and withdrawals (scheduled/ ad-hoc) and tax payments as needed. Daily processing of securities activity: income posting, reinvestments, trade settlement, short term redemption fees and maturities. Work with administrator and administrator assistants in new account set up, transfer of assets, correct fee setup and other daily activity. New asset setup electronically and manually via Bloomberg with oversight from investments staff. Reconciliation of departmental checking account, various custodian accounts, safekeeping items and shadow accounting as needed. Maintain/administer internet database for customer's online account access. Backup Fiduciary Operations Officers as needed. Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct. Participates in the bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program. Makes referrals to the Mortgage Center Performs special projects and other duties as requested by Fiduciary Operations Manager. Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree recommended 1 - 3 years of similar or related experience; preferred area of study in Banking or Trust Administration Direct dealings primarily with internal customers, as needed General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills Extensive reading as needed Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr BankPlus
