Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Neuro Stepdown Unit Nursing Position

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a Neuro Stepdown unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and efficient recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality clinical services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on medical orders and patient needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately following protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, record findings, and recognize early signs of deterioration.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Facilitate patient education and bedside shift reports to ensure continuous care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care and neuro stepdown nursing experience.
• Proficient in using Meditech documentation system.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications: BLS required for all, ACLS preferred or required for neuro stepdown.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, with flexibility.
