Housekeeper

Position Title: Housekeeper (Seasonal) Location: Highland Park, IL, US Pay Range: starting at $16.25/hr (non-exempt) Reports To: Custodial Services Foreman Season: Summer 2026 (July – September) Position Summary The Park Operations team needs reliable Housekeepers to maintain cleanliness across Ravinia campus buildings during the summer season. The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and performs daily janitorial duties, including operating basic equipment and maintaining supply inventories. Key Responsibilities Participate in daily cleaning and custodial services. Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in maintaining accurate supply inventory. Operate basic janitorial equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Knowledge and Skills Required Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate basic janitorial equipment. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods. Availability to work weekends. Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment venue. Previous housekeeping experience is a plus. Education and Experience 3–5 years of housekeeping, janitorial services, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience (big plus). Bilingual (English/Spanish) – a plus. Additional Information This position is outdoors and in all weather conditions. Typical hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 48 hours per week, including weekends. Applicants available for the entire season will receive priority in hiring. Must be able to reliably commute to Ravinia daily.
