Principal Engineer, GFAC US - CSA ARCH

Responsibilities Responsible for the development, oversight, and ownership of the Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) specific subject area standardization, alignment, and programs related to design, construction, operations, and maintenance of CSA facilities systems in support of Semiconductor Manufacturing Sites and Projects across the Micron Global Manufacturing Network. Support the Facilities Teams and Manufacturing sites across the network as a domain expert through all CSA related design, construction, installation, start‑up, operations and maintenance requirements of field‑specific systems, ensuring environmental, safety, regulatory, and code compliance. Develop and own Micron CSA Technical Specifications and Standards; provide technical direction on Micron's requirements to outside A&E firms during project concept and detailed design phases, working with site groups, other engineering teams, local municipalities/utilities, trade contractors, and other project collaborators. Perform regular field inspections during construction and supervise the project to ensure it is within agreed scope, schedule and budget and that the work is being performed in accordance with design intent. Ensure constructability in challenging environments in or near operating buildings without interruptions. Participate in formal 3D plant model reviews. Travel: requires 10% domestic and international travel. May telecommute part time. Qualifications Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field followed by 10 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
