Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Victoria, TX #26-472 Victoria, Texas, United States Job Description Location: Victoria, TX Status: Full-Time Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: Full benefits package available Position Summary We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Victoria, TX . Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board certification or eligibility PA: NCCPA certification required NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required) Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care, I&D) Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation’s largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high-quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
