Building Automation Systems Project ManagerProject Managers coordinate and deliver multiple, simultaneous building automation projects of various complexities, which contributes to creating safer environments in critical institutions such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. As a Project Manager, your fiscal and managerial oversight across all project facets ensures client satisfaction, effective resource allocation, and safe, timely completion of projects.As a Project Manager, you will:Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions, establishing comprehensive project schedules in coordination with the team while identifying crucial installation timelinesOwn fiscal and managerial oversight for assigned projects, driving financial performance, operational execution, and overall project successEnsure all project safety requirements are defined, communicated, and upheld throughout execution, including compliance with Siemens standards, regulatory requirements, and site-specific safety plansAccountable for the preparation, coordination, and gaining acceptance of all engineered submittals (e.g., shop drawings, data sheets, and system documentation), ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, technical standards, and project specifications, while managing review cycles and integrating approved designs into project execution.Oversee the procurement of supplies and materials required for project completion, and actively participate in project cost reviews to ensure financial efficiencyResponsible for contracting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with the project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements while ensuring adherence to safety regulationsConduct orientations for project technicians, providing all necessary project documentation such as scope of work, technical drawings, project contacts, and application-engineered diagramsDiligently track project resources and progress, documenting any events impacting the schedule, scope, and overall efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project-specific change ordersManage project-specific billing coordination with the accounting team and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources, expedite the return of mark-ups for as-built development, and ensure timely completion of project-specific close-out documentationYou will make an impact with these qualifications:On-the-job experience with: Project management in the HVAC controls industry OR similar experienceHVAC industry applications; Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams; prior exposure to industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnetExperience with Microsoft OfficeStrong oral and written communication skillsHigh School Diploma or state-recognized GEDMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle programLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Associates Degree or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree preferred5+ years project management experience in the HVAC controls industryMicrosoft Project experienceReady to create your own journey?
