About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Accreditation and Education to lead its national accrediting body for nutrition and dietetics education programs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the organization's transition to an independent 501(c)(3) entity and will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and financial leadership. This pivotal role involves guiding the implementation of new accreditation standards, serving as a key ambassador to various stakeholders, and ensuring the quality and continuous improvement of nutrition and dietetics education programs. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree, the RDN credential, and a strong background in nutrition and dietetics education, accreditation, and organizational leadership. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be prepared to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in administrative, financial, communication, and staff leadership skills. The role requires a strategic, collaborative, and effective leader with experience in working with boards and diverse stakeholders. The Executive Director will be expected to anticipate emerging trends, and advance the organization's mission, and will need to be proficient with technology, available for occasional weekend meetings, and willing to travel approximately 25 percent of the time. The position is permanent, full-time, and fully virtual, and the company is an equal-opportunity employer.
