Location Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging inpatient hospital care, including regular hospital rounds or coverage with one or more hospitalists or other qualified physicians.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care‑team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at the clinic location(s) and any other BJC clinical outreach location assigned.
• Perform and document medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
• Provide or arrange for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in accordance with BJC policies and Medical Staff bylaws.
• Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers, support staff, or any care‑team member assigned to the physician’s patient panel.
• Maintain a maintained state of alertness and safety, as required for a safety‑sensitive position.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Doctorate in Medicine
• Experience: Under 2 years
• Licenses & Certifications: Board‑eligible or Board‑certified in Neurology; Licensed Physician

Preferred Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 5 years
