• Location: Minot, ND / Abilene, TX / Longview, TX / Ruidoso, NM
• Start Date: January 3, 2025 (or as designated)
• End Date/Duration: Varies (7 months or ongoing)
• Shift: 8-12 hour shifts, including nights and holidays
• Hours/week: Up to full-time
• Employment Type: Contract / Locum Tenens
• License/Certs: Current BLS required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS as specified; ABEM/BEEM or equivalent
• Experience: 1+ years preferred
• Pay Range: $275 to $325/hour + paid travel and holiday pay
• Sign-On/Relocation: Up to $7,500 each; Student loan repayment up to $15,750 over 3 years

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care for diverse patient populations, including adults and pediatrics
• Manage trauma and critical cases in Level II and Level III trauma centers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, PAs, and hospital staff
• Utilize hospital EMR systems such as Cerner, Allscripts, or EPIC
• Adhere to hospital protocols and certifications for trauma and stroke care
• Participate in shift coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Provide supportive oversight for emergency department staff during shifts

What You Need

• Active medical license in respective state
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS highly recommended
• ABEM/BEEM certification or equivalent
• 1-2 years emergency medicine experience preferred

• Experience in trauma centers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
