Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 Annually
About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centered rehabilitation setting focused on delivering exceptional care through evidence-based treatment and advanced rehabilitation technology. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping adult patients regain independence, improve function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for adult rehabilitation patients
• Assist patients in improving independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
• Assess cognitive, sensory, motor, visual-perceptual, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement treatment programs focused on functional independence and recovery
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, home exercise programs, and assistive devices
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Preferred Clinical Experience
Neurological Rehabilitation

Experience treating adult patients with conditions such as:

• Stroke (CVA)
• Parkinson's Disease
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)
• Polyneuropathies
• Other neurological disorders

Functional & Occupational Rehabilitation

Experience with:

• ADL & IADL Training
• Cognitive Rehabilitation
• Visual-Perceptual Rehabilitation
• Upper Extremity Rehabilitation
• Adaptive Equipment Assessment & Training
• Home Safety Evaluations
• Community Reintegration Programs
• Functional Recovery Following Injury or Surgery

Qualifications

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility for Florida licensure)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Minimum 1 year of experience treating adult rehabilitation patients
• Strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills
• Experience with functional independence programs and cognitive rehabilitation
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Patient-centered, compassionate approach to care
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
