Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol residential apartment communities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common spaces, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
