Human Resource Office/Training Manager (Fashion, Grocery, Import, Regional, Returns, Sam's, Wm.Com)

Position Summary Responsible for managing HR administrative functions, training, compliance, and associate development within the logistics division. Leads staffing, scheduling, benefits, payroll, recruitment, training, quality, safety, and adherence to company policies. Key Responsibilities Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and/or in writing. Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals. Manage the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. Execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives and research and address employment‑related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers. Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in the implementation of HR systems and applications, and gathering data for HR‑related issues. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures, monitoring compliance, and distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others as needed to determine corrective action or recommendations for resolution. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, modelling logistics and company policies and procedures, identifying training and development needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation. Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, virtual classroom) by identifying needs, monitoring completion, presenting and facilitating training courses, and ensuring compliance for multiple training activities. Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and promoting a belonging mindset among associates. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and apply the Open Door Policy where appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and 1 year of supervisory experience. OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience. OR 2 years of supervisory experience, including 1 year of experience managing human resource processes. OR 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience. Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Human Resources experience. Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience supervising associates. Experience in training and facilitation. Familiarity with Walmart Logistics Systems. Professional HR (PHR) certification. Senior Professional HR (SPHR) certification.
