Pay: $80hr-$83hr

Nuclear Project Manager

\n

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience leading projects from conception through closeout , with a strong understanding of industry best practices in project management and project controls. Experience working within Power Generation Division (PGD), Wind, or other business units, is highly valued, as it provides an independent perspective and broader organizational insight that can be applied to the Nuclear organization.

Strong experience with Primavera P6 (P6), NEO, and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

\n

\n

The position will require periodic travel to other nuclear sites to support outages, planned projects, and other business needs .

\n

\n

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with engineering, construction, project controls, and other cross-functional teams.

\n

\n

Job Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and supporting projects that advance nuclear business objectives and operational priorities . Projects may vary in size, complexity, scope, duration, resource requirements, and level of cross-functional interaction.

\n

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project momentum, coordinating cross-functional resources, identifying and addressing issues, developing recommendations, communicating project status, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within established schedule, scope, and budget requirements .

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning and initiation through execution and closeout , ensuring completion in accordance with approved scope, schedule, and budget.
\n
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, cost analyses, estimates, forecasts, and status reports to communicate project progress and deliverables.
\n
• Coordinate engineering, construction, project controls, operations, and other functional resources to achieve project objectives.
\n
• Establish priorities, monitor project milestones, and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and potential impacts to project delivery.
\n
• Lead and provide guidance to schedulers, cost engineers, estimators, and other project controls personnel regarding project objectives, priorities, and significance.
\n
• Manage project controls processes and systems to support project planning, execution, forecasting, and reporting.
\n
• Monitor project performance against established schedule and budget targets and develop corrective actions when necessary.
\n
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to project leadership and key stakeholders.
\n
• Support outage planning and execution activities and travel to other nuclear sites periodically as required.
\n
• Promote effective collaboration across functional teams and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
\n
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
