Cedar Healthcare Center, a senior living and rehabilitation community in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Resident Activities Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy interacting with residents and making a meaningful impact in their daily lives through engaging recreational activities, Cedar Healthcare Center is the place for you.

Position : Resident Activities Assistant

Schedule : Part-time and full-time

Location : Portsmouth, NH

Pay Range : $17.00/hour and up

What You’ll Do :

• Assist with planning and implementing engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs

• Escort residents to activities and facilitate group and one-on-one programs

• Support offsite outings, including transportation coordination

• Assist in passing resident meals

• Observe and report changes in mood, behavior, or engagement

• Assist with Resident and Family Council meetings as assigned

• Maintain resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, and safety at all time

What We’re Looking For :

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive, patient, and professional demeanor

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Creative mindset with enthusiasm for engaging residents

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, and assist with resident mobility as needed
