Custodial Worker Leader

Summary This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Office, Superintendent, House Office Buildings (HOB), Assistant Superintendent, Client Services Division, Labor and Custodial Branch and may be assigned to any section within the Branch. The incumbent is a Custodial Worker Leader and sets the pace of work, provides leadership and instructions and performs and checks a cleaning duty in an assigned group of rooms and public areas. Responsibilities Set the pace of work and provide leadership and instructions to a group of custodial workers. Perform and check cleaning duties in assigned rooms and public areas. Qualifications Must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. Screen‑out requirement: The ability to lead a team by monitoring, reviewing and checking on work progress of performing cleaning duties in an assigned group of rooms and public areas.
