Job Title: Machine Operator

Location : Lebanon, IN

Pay: $24.60 OR $25.60

Shifts : 4 on / 4 off schedule

• 1st: 7:00am - 7:30pm
• 3rd: 7:00pm - 7:30am

We are hiring for machine operator that will operate blow mold machines, as well as grinders, trimming equipment, and conveyor systems. This role involves troubleshooting process issues and performing minor maintenance to ensure efficient production while following quality and safety standards.

• Operate blow-mold machines to produce quality bottles and perform audits, weights, and quality checks.
• Adhere to quality control and blow mold process procedures.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment.
• Make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck, and blow pin changes, and other mechanical adjustments.
• Grind excess bottles and material.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
• Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
• Prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, and more.
• Perform general production duties, including loading and unloading equipment, documenting quality results, basic housekeeping, and scrap removal.

• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating production machinery.
• At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Ability to stand and work for a 12-hour shift, excluding breaks.
• Strong attention to quality and ability to follow work instructions.

This role is in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving production lines and automated equipment. The workplace is team-oriented and focused on safety and efficiency. Steel-toed shoes are required. Additional PPE, including hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, bump caps, and hearing protection, will be provided and must be worn as required. Employees must remove fake nails, piercings, and jewelry while on duty.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

The pay range for this position is $24.60 - $25.60/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
