About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Fratellinos Italian Restaurant as a Line Cook / Pizza and Oven Specialist! We are looking for passionate culinary professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to creating exceptional Italian cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, with a focus on pizza and oven specialties.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in menu development and contribute innovative ideas for new dishes.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and best practices.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook, preferably in an Italian restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Passion for Italian cuisine and a strong desire to create memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
