Dietary AideThe Citadel of Northbrook is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team! The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving residents’ meals and cleaning routines for the dietary department.Dietary Aide Duties and Responsibilities:Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance on a timely basis.Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures.Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.Sweeps and mops floors as directed.Washes and cleans utensils as directed.Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.All other duties as assigned.Dietary Aide Qualifications and Skills:Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust be able to keep up in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow sanitation process and maintain cleanliness standardsDietary Aide Education and Experience:Experience operating an industrial dishwasher and the sanitation process of the kitchen, preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.Experience in industrial food production preferred.Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus.Physical Requirements:Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.Citadel Healthcare Benefits:Daily Pay & Competitive Compensation401(k) with company matchBlue Cross Blue Shield Medical insurance.Dental, Vision, and Disability insuranceInnovative Training ProgramsOpportunity for Growth and AdvancementPaid Time OffCitadel Healthcare has a long and successful history of providing long and short-term skilled nursing care.
