Surgical Technologist - CVOR

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist with experience in CVOR to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role involves performing surgical technologist duties including assisting during complex cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques, and supporting the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Additional Details:

• RTO request limit: 3 days
• Block scheduling: No
• Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support), CST (Certified Surgical Technologist), or equivalent
• Certifications not in-hand must indicate willingness to obtain
• Schedule: 3x12 days shifts, including 2 late shifts
• Weekends: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every four weeks of call
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Surgical Technology certification required
• Minimum Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to collaborate with healthcare providers; proficient in multitasking and working under stress; knowledge of surgical procedures; basic computer skills; effective verbal and written communication; critical thinking; ability to adapt quickly; and computer proficiency in Word and Excel
