New Beginnings Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team in a remote, full-time capacity. This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities tailored to support our clients’ emotional and psychological well-being:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand client needs, challenges, and strengths.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals to foster client progress.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Collaborating with community mental health resources, external treatment providers, and placement agencies to ensure holistic support for clients.
• Engaging in regular team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and enhance collaborative efforts toward quality care.
• Contributing to the positive culture of the organization by promoting an environment of support, empathy, and inclusivity.

As a Mental Health Counselor at New Beginnings, you will play an integral role in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, with a focus on facilitating recovery and resilience.

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold the following qualifications:

• A valid and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; additional education and certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding of diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting client interactions.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for maintaining client information.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or related fields. Familiarity with community resources and mental health trends will further enhance your effectiveness in this role, enabling better referral practices and resource networking for our clients.
