Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Final Inspector to join our team. The Final Inspector is responsible for performing final inspections on completed products to ensure they meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements before shipment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience using inspection tools, and the ability to identify defects and quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on finished products prior to shipment.
• Verify product dimensions, specifications, labeling, and packaging requirements.
• Conduct visual and physical inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformances.
• Review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
• Document and communicate quality issues to supervisors and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety policies, and customer requirements.
• Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous quality inspection, final inspection, or quality control experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and visual inspections for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
