Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with a diverse range of needs. This school-based role, located near Ithaca, NY, spans the entire 2025–2026 school year (September 2, 2025 – June 25, 2026), offering 32.5 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with an inclusive team of educators and specialists focused on enabling every child’s potential.

Ideal candidates bring expertise across the spectrum of speech-language services, with skills in pediatric care, healthcare settings, teletherapy, and support of students pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). The caseload includes students with mild to severe disabilities, such as autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid NY Speech Language Pathologist license
• Active Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
• Experience or strong interest in K-12 school settings
• Competency in supporting a variety of student needs, including disabilities and disorders listed above
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Background in teletherapy or willingness to learn preferred
• SLP-CCC or candidate pursuing their CFY welcomed

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services (onsite and/or via teletherapy)
• Consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation
• Participate in team meetings to review goals and student progress
