Preventive Maintenance Technician

The Preventive Maintenance Technician supports the Senior HVAC Technician in the repair, maintenance, and preservation of the College's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to changing air filters, greasing pumps, cleaning HVAC cores, replacing belts, lubricating and replacing bearings, servicing pumps and motors, general electrical and plumbing services in addition to maintaining equipment and inventory relevant to the department.

The position is located in the Maintenance & Operations Department based in the Plant Operations Building on the main campus of Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee. Occasional travel to off-campus sites at the McMinn Higher Education Center located in Athens, Tennessee and the Vonore Campus located in Vonore, Tennessee will be required.

The position is non-exempt and full-time with a salary range of $40,000-$47,565.
