Gardens for Living is a family-owned landscape company passionate about designing, building, and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. We are currently seeking a Landscape Construction Crew Member who is motivated, responsible, and enjoys working outdoors in a team environment. - Assist with the installation of new landscapes and renovations under the guidance of our Landscape Construction Crew Leader.
- Operate small machines, load and unload tools and equipment.
- Move and install soil, mulch, and plant material to construct landscape gardens and related areas.
- Perform tasks safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in the landscape/construction industry preferred.
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness is required to carry out strenuous tasks and work in various outdoor conditions.
Compensation
- Pay starts between $16-$21 an hour, depending on experience
- Expect 40 – 50 hours per week in season (approximately March 1 – December 15)
- 40 hours out of season (weather dependent)
