Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following areas of basic routine, preventative and emergency maintenance:ElectricalPlumbingPLC's knowledgeConveyor knowledgeHVACCarpentryMechanicalPainting and Drywall RepairLocks & KeysJanitorial, Grounds and Snow RemovalBasic knowledge of tools, equipment, and processes used in facility maintenance.Operate a radio and mobile phone.Lift or move 50 poundsBasic computer skillsResponsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Preventive Maintenance and safety checksPerforms maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.Performs other related duties as assigned.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal; demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. High School Diploma or GED 2+ years' experience in the facilities maintenance field Excellent customer service skills. Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter; Adhere to OSHA safety regulations approved standards, policies and procedures Interface with peers, staff, vendors, contractors to appropriately resolve issues. Be able to be on-callHigh School Diploma/GED or Equivalent 1+ years maintenance and repair experience in warehouse or related area. Certifications: OSHA Forklift operator certificate; HVAC certification; ammonia
