Location: DC|VA|MD Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (Yearly) Company: Polaris Campaigns Department: Management Employment Type: Other Minimum Level of Experience: Entry Level Effective date: June 2026 Classification: FTE, hybrid in Washington, DC Term: Temporary, with a set-end date in November 2026 Work hours: 10am-6pm EST with extended hours during busy election season. In-person at least one day per week; other flexibility may be required as clients’ needs shift. Senior/Media Associate Overview The Senior Media Associate supports the Media Team in trafficking, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms. This junior generalist position will work across clients and learn every step of the media planning and buying process. The role also includes additional duties as assigned. Candidate Profile Be dedicated to the success of Democratic and left‑of‑center causes and candidates : Identify with the ethics and philosophy of progressive and Democratic causes and understand the role that Polaris plays in advancing causes such as social justice, women’s rights, workers’ rights, freedom of expression and marginalized communities. Job Responsibilities Traffic digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Google Ads, Twitter, LinkedIn, The Trade Desk, and Freewheel DSP. Traffic linear ads to broadcast and cable TV stations via Comcast Ad Fusion. Provide quality assurance for each campaign to ensure creative, targets, and campaign goals align with media plans. Assist in producing post‑campaign reports. Create and troubleshoot ad accounts for clients, including political verification. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be based in Washington DC area (DMV). 1‑3 years of experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, The Trade Desk, Freewheel DSP, and Strata preferred. High proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets. Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace suites, including PowerPoint, Slides, Gmail, and more. Proficiency with data visualization software such as Tableau, Looker Data Studio, and PowerBi preferred. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Excellent initiative, communication, and project management skills. Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve in new and high‑pressure situations. Superb attention to detail and time management skills. Experience working in the progressive political sphere strongly preferred or a demonstrated interest in campaigns and causes. Compensation and Benefits $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
