Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Hospitalist/Inpatient opening in Anchorage. Mission-driven behavioral health team providing integrated medical care to children, teens, and adults in an inpatient setting in Alaska. Why You Should Apply Block schedule: 7-on/7-off , 10-hour shifts for better work/life balance Work with a collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and medical providers Provide holistic, integrated care in a multidisciplinary team setting, managing the medical side of patients while at the hospital Serve diverse populations (age 5+) including First Responders, Veterans & Service Members Opportunity to manage complex medical comorbidities in a behavioral health context Comprehensive benefits package with salary negotiable based on experience Opportunity for new graduates with relevant clinical training and a strong interest in behavioral health What You’ll Be Doing Perform initial medical admission evaluations and H&Ps within 24 hours of admission Conduct follow‑ups, diagnostics and discharge planning Co‑manage medical needs for behavioral health patients alongside psychiatrists Recommend diagnostics, manage treatment plans, and provide medical consults Deliver emergency medical care within NP scope as needed Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans About You Be able to do the job as described Physician Assistant/PA‑C or Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP with Alaska license or eligible to obtain Experience in inpatient or acute care settings preferred Interest or experience in behavioral health and integrated patient care How To Apply We’d love to see your resume or CV.
