School Psychologist – School-Based Responsibilities

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility.
Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional assessments.
Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluation reports.
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Consult with teachers regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
Provide crisis response and threat assessment support as needed.
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Support MTSS/RTI initiatives.
Provide counseling or behavioral consultation when appropriate.

Qualifications :

Master's, specialist (Ed.S.), or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid Delaware Educator License with School Psychologist certification, or eligibility for Delaware certification
Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is preferred but not required
Minimum one year of paid school-based experience as a School Psychologist is preferred
TB Test within 1 Year
