Senior OD and ID Cylindrical Grinder, CNC and Manual Operations

Where: Nationwide projects with regular travel

Term: 6 plus month assignments with ongoing opportunities

Pay package: 40 dollars per hour and up, 125 to 180 dollars per day tax-free per diem, 0.76 dollars per mile mileage reimbursement

Can you do the following

• Run OD, ID, and cylindrical grinders, both CNC and manual
• Hit tight tolerances on one-off and short-run parts
• Dress and maintain the right wheel for each job
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T without guesswork
• Inspect with micrometers, bore and height gages, optical comparators, and CMMs
• Troubleshoot surface finish, size, and geometry issues fast
• Work confidently with hardened steels and exotic alloys
• Keep dimensional accuracy and finishes exceptional in fast-paced environments

• Independent setup and operation across OD, ID, and cylindrical grinding platforms
• Process optimization and problem solving on the floor
• Travel to different facilities across the United States
• Collaborate with local teams to meet demanding specifications

What you bring

• At least 5 years hands-on OD, ID, or cylindrical grinding experience
• Manual grinding experience preferred; CNC grinding experience a plus
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Advanced inspection and troubleshooting ability
• Experience with hardened steels and exotic materials preferred
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Ability to travel nationwide for assignments

Compensation and benefits

• Base pay starting at 40 plus dollars per hour depending on experience
• Daily per diem 125 to 180 dollars tax free
