Union Driver - CDL A

Job Description Summary Class A CDL Driver As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. Responsibilities Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksite Operate Class A truck and trailers (flatbed, RGN/lowboy, dovetail) safely and efficiently Make minor repairs and troubleshoot equipment and vehicle at job sites Maintain a customer service attitude Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver’s license with CDL and acceptable driver’s record Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers Physical Demands The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors when required by the job. Compensation $36.62-$38.62 per hour, depending on the agreed rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location.
