What You'll Do

• Perform patient histories and physical exams, documenting assessments and diagnoses
• Initiate and review treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging studies
• Recognize urgent situations and institute necessary interventions
• Counsel patients on health matters including medications, diets, and disease management
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and ongoing care needs
• Assist in surgery as a first or second assistant under supervision, including robotic-assisted procedures, with documented training or approved courses
• Support the trauma team by monitoring and managing patients on the trauma service

What You Need

• Valid California PA license and current certification
• Trauma or critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
• Proven competency in surgical assisting or robotic surgery support is desirable
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
