Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Options for 36- or 48-hour shifts. Days and nights with a patient ratio of 2:1.

Typical daily census of ~15 patients in a 20-bed unit.

Minimum 2 years of experience required.

ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.

Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical circulatory support.

Proficiency in ventilator management and critical care procedures.

Epic charting system experience preferred.

Manage care for adult and geriatric patients in a critical care setting.

Assist with post-operative care, including cardiac surgery patients.

Monitor and titrate vasoactive and cardiac medications.

Perform bedside procedures such as trach management and sheath removal.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal. Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing. Orientation is mandatory and modules are completed onsite.
