The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures and possess the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Unit Information Location: Salt Lake City, UT Number of Operating Rooms: 13 Staffing: 81 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) Trauma Level: II with 24-hour staffing Responsibilities Circulate in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and sterile techniques. Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, excluding LVADs, transplants, and pediatric cases under the age of 14. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to provide high-quality patient care. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically EPIC, for patient documentation. Qualifications Required: Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting Experience with da Vinci Robotics Experience in orthopedic surgery Preferred: Experience in vascular procedures Work Schedule Shifts: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Expected to participate in 3 to 6 call shifts per month.
