Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Facility: Intermountain Health | Location: Brighton/Aurora, CO

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled professional capable of performing independent nursing assessments, planning comprehensive care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and infants.

• License: Active Colorado Registered Nurse License.
• Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) - Mandatory
  • ACLS, NRP, and PALS - Mandatory for L&D unit scope.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care/L&D experience preferred. Strong critical thinking and independent nursing judgment are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive L&D patient assessments and implement formal care plans.
• Administer medications and perform therapeutic interventions.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Be available to float to other units based on facility business needs.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the unit.
