Must-Have: Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience

Description: Agency must supply radiation badge. The position is for a CT Scan Tech. Daily caseload varies per shift and location. This position requires working 3x12 hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with holiday rotation. On-call rotation is required with staff. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. Floating to sister facilities may also be required. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on managerial and unit needs. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. This is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Scrub color is teal top and black bottom. Charting is done using Epic. All travel candidates are expected to have prior experience, especially with trauma. Knowledge of special procedures such as biopsies and drainage is preferred. Candidates with previous experience in Level 1 Trauma are encouraged to apply. Radiation safety protocols must be followed at all times. Candidates with a pending license will be considered if proof of application is provided. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, emergency response assignments may occur. Modules are non-billable and should be completed before starting the assignment.
