The award-winning Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and service-driven Front Office Manager / Sales Administrator to join our leadership team!

This exciting dual-focus position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, exceeding guest expectations, and contributing to the overall success of a growing hotel. While your primary responsibility will be overseeing our Front Office operations, you will also play an important supporting role in our Sales Department, helping coordinate group business, corporate accounts, meetings, and special events.

What You'll Do

Front Office Leadership — Your Primary Focus

• Lead, motivate, train, and develop our Front Desk team to consistently deliver outstanding guest service.

• Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and a welcoming atmosphere.

• Create memorable guest experiences through personalized service, thoughtful attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.

• Manage guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

• Coordinate Front Desk schedules and assist with staffing, training, and performance management.

• Ensure reservations, room assignments, billing, and guest requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

• Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.

• Maintain brand standards while continuously identifying opportunities to improve the guest experience.

• Support hotel leadership in maximizing guest satisfaction scores, operational efficiency, and overall hotel performance.

Sales Administration — Your Secondary Focus

In addition to Front Office leadership, you'll serve as an important administrative partner to our Sales & Marketing team.

• Provide administrative and organizational support to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

• Assist with group reservations, room blocks, corporate accounts, and event-related correspondence.

• Help prepare proposals, contracts, sales correspondence, and other essential documentation.

• Maintain accurate sales records, client information, and follow-up schedules.

• Assist in coordinating group arrivals, VIP accommodations, and special requests.

• Communicate with clients and internal departments to ensure successful execution of meetings, events, and group stays.

• Support sales initiatives designed to build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners.

• Help identify opportunities to turn exceptional guest experiences into repeat business.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel Front Desk, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred.

• Experience in hotel sales coordination, administrative support, or group reservations is a plus.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS); familiarity with ChoiceADVANTAGE is a plus.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest and business information professionally.

• Flexibility to work a schedule that supports the operational needs of the hotel, including occasional weekends and holidays.

• A positive attitude, polished professional presence, and genuine passion for hospitality.
