Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Carlsbad Animal Clinic - Carlsbad, New Mexico Part-Time | Potential for Full-Time Growth $12-$16/hour DOE Carlsbad Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary professional to join our growing single-doctor practice. We are looking for someone with veterinary technician and/or assistant experience who is comfortable helping in both clinical and client service roles. Responsibilities Include Assisting with exams, treatments, surgery, and patient care Restraining patients, collecting lab samples, and performing basic technical skills Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and client communication Checking patients in/out and maintaining accurate medical records Supporting daily hospital operations and cleanliness Educating clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment plans Processing invoices and payments Qualifications Veterinary clinic experience required Veterinary technician/assistant experience strongly preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented AVImark experience is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to grow with a practice, and values teamwork and quality patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr NVA General Practice
