About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Preferred or nice to have: ENPC, IO training Description: Travel RN position available in the Emergency Department. The unit has a total of 14 beds and a diverse staff of 48 members. Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 2 RNs, and additional support during peak hours. Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 1 RN, and additional RNs to ensure patient care continuity. Patient ratios are typically 1:3-4. Experience with equipment such as EMR is essential. Typical procedures include central line insertion, chest tube insertion, thoracic lavage, and intubations. The ideal candidate is independent, self-motivated, and displays excellent customer service skills. Previous patient care experience is crucial, along with strong communication skills with both staff and providers. Dress code requires maroon/wine/burgundy scrubs.
