and infrastructure initiatives across the entire stack, working directly with technical and product leadership in a highly autonomous environment.What You Will DoBuild Across the Full Stack: Develop and ship features across a React/TypeScript frontend and Express/Node.js backend.Work across DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and AWS to build scalable product and infrastructure capabilities.Maintain a balanced full-stack scope, with flexibility to work approximately 70/30 in either direction depending on product needs.Own Features End-to-End: Take ownership from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production impact.Build reliable, maintainable, and user-focused software that directly supports credit union customers and their members.Influence Architecture: Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.Help strengthen engineering standards, technical decisions, system design, and long-term maintainability.Partner with Leadership: Work directly with the CTO, CPO, and engineering team to scope features and balance business priorities with technical sustainability.Identify technical problems and opportunities independently and drive solutions from concept through production.Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions.Monitor and improve production systems, reliability, performance, and developer workflows.Move quickly in a small engineering organization where individual contributions have significant impact.Ideal Candidate BackgroundExperience Requirements5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.Strong experience building and shipping production software.Demonstrated ability to own features and technical projects end-to-end.Experience working across both frontend and backend systems.Strong track record of operating independently and taking significant technical ownership.Experience working in startups, high-growth companies, or lean engineering organizations.Comfortable making technical decisions and driving projects without extensive direction.Experience working closely with senior
