Data Governance Analyst

As the Data Governance Analyst you reside at the intersection of privacy,
ethics, confidentiality and colleague trust to manage the information flow of HR
data. You will specialize in methods to support the integrity, efficiency, and
availability of confidential HR data. The data governance analyst is responsible
for developing and implementing data standards, guaranteeing metadata is
captured correctly, and creating methods for monitoring and reporting any data
incidents. They may also create and maintain common data dictionaries and the
tools or methods that support data standards. The Data Governance Analyst will analyze and oversee strategies designed to
enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies. They will work closely with
HR Risk and HR Technology, as well as HR SMEs, to develop data quality
standards. The data governance analyst will create key performance indicators
and supply colleagues and organizational management with performance results.
They may also assist with data monitoring, provide organizational management
with guidance on streamlining data management, and evaluate data governance
matters in AI-enablement scenarios. Responsibilities
• Serve as primary coordinator for HR data governance activities.
• Act as a single point of contact for interactions between the Lines of
Business, Information Management and Data Governance initiatives; manage intake
and review of HR data requests; prepare materials and reporting for data
governance review groups; serve as central point for data sharing and
transmission guidelines, as well as execution.
• Work directly with the Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify
existing and/or document new processes and controls that support Data Governance
policies and procedures; ensure results are communicated and implemented.
• Provide support to data stewards including HR Risk in fulfilling Data
Governance initiatives across the enterprise; develop working relationships with
the Lines of Businesses, Technology, Risk, and Audit functions in order to
respond to strategic needs impacting the consistent sharing and management of HR
data.
• Coordinate and support assigned Data Governance project activities to
ensure tasks are documented, appropriately assigned and the desired deliverables
are implemented.
• Administer HR data access processes and approvals; monitor access controls;
support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and work with HR Technology on
remediation; monitor data quality metrics and usage.
• Support metadata registration and lineage efforts, including DTR, STTM, API
and vendor registrations as applicable.
• Provide additional HR data management and analysis support on key data
governance domains, including colleague listening, AI-enablement, data privacy
and transparency, and ethics. Maintain standards related to data lineage and
all data related procedures. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, information management, data analytics,
risk management or related field.
* Working knowledge, and application of, enterprise data governance methods and
standards in the context of talent, performance, and other core HR data.
* Understanding of master data management best practices and procedures; basic
understanding of ETL and data modeling tools
* 2-5 years of related experience involving workforce data management and
enterprise data governance processes
* Proficiency in use of Collibra, Service Now, MCI and Perceptyx

environment. Hours and Work Schedule: (4 days in office, 1 day remote) Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Work Location (s): Johnston, RI, Stamford, CT. Pay Transparency The salary range for this position is $80,000-$107,000 per year, plus an
opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on
various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and
