Medical Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT / MLT / MLS)
Location: Liberal, KS
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Department: Laboratory Services
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
- Pay Rate: Starting at $27.10/hour (negotiable based on experience)
- Shift Differentials: Available for evenings, nights, and weekends
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 with proof of eligible expenses
Available Positions
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- MLS candidates may also be considered for:
- Microbiology Lead Technologist
- Chemistry Lead Technologist
Schedule
Day Shift
- Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Holiday Requirements:
- Two minor holidays annually (Memorial Day and Labor Day)
- One major holiday annually (Christmas, Thanksgiving, or New Year's Day)
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing in:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Serology
- Urinalysis
- Coagulation
- Blood Bank
- Molecular Diagnostics
- Microbiology
- Collect patient specimens, including phlebotomy duties
- Maintain quality control and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care
Qualifications
Required
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Phlebotomy experience
- Eligible to work as an MLT or MLS
Float Requirements
- All laboratory technologists are cross-trained to assist with night shift coverage on rare occasions as needed.
