KAW NATION POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Janitor IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Executive Director CONTROLLING SUPERVISOR: Chair LOCATION: Ponca City, OK QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have the ability to keep at least two (2) buildings clean and in an orderly manner. Lifting and bending may be involved on a continuous basis. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Keep assigned area dusted, vacuumed, and trash emptied, including windowsill and blinds. Do not bother anything or clean employee desktops. Do not clean or bother any computers.
- Wash windows inside on a periodic schedule. Outside windows will be professionally cleaned.
- Ensures that janitorial/housekeeping supplies are replenished.
- Clean and sanitize all bathrooms daily. Keep paper towels and toilet tissue stocked.
- Mop and sweep tile floors daily.
- Clean air vents on an as needed basis.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and treat any spots on the carpet.
- Keep the parking lots clear of paper and debris.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and move freely without restriction.
- Report any problem that should require knowledge of specific training to repair or correct to Immediate Supervisor.
- Assist with/complete any other job duties that might be assigned.
